I’ve finally started working on a project I’ve been dreaming about — building a drone completely from scratch: frame, motors, flight controller, camera, even firmware. The goal isn’t just to build a flying toy, but to create something unique — fully customized and FPV-capable.
Funny enough, I got the initial budget thanks to ninja-crash.gg. I hopped on the site one evening to relax and got lucky — enough to kick off my drone build with confidence.
Right now I’m in the component selection phase. Debating between a lightweight racing rig or a more stable FPV platform. Would love to hear your opinions — what motors, controllers, and antennas are solid choices nowadays? And is a 4K camera worth it right away?
